The reason I put the disclaimer on is. I was contacted by a artist whom I will not name. They came across my blog and loves it. As a matter of fact I have a few album of theirs posted. And he loves the fact that people can now hear it. It was suggested to me that I put a disclaimer up. To protect myself in case somebody trying to say were stilling. So that is why I posted it. I was trying to cover the whole album but not sure how to do that. But as said from the start of this blog I would post stuff that is out print. And if a artist in up re-release the album I would take the link down. But I would post info of how to get the album. Thank You for your understand and God Bless, Johnny

that's very nice to hear that an artist liked it. I think blogs are great. Some people buy cds, some don't... that's just how it is. I think with blogs they just fuel purchases among those who do buy and they offer a great (and sort of respectful) ability to the music-buyer out there to find direction in how he/she collects real cds. Also cd is over 4 times as good sound as even the highest quality (320) mp3. It is a more involving sound for me, so everytime I find somerthing I really like..even if it is 320kbps bit rate ripped...I am off hunting it in original. By the way, this blog looks absolutely fantastic. I really enjoyed Michael Gleason - Children Of Choices last night with a bottle of wine. Thanks a lot. Frank

1. I can't check the music, so I do not buy sthg I don't know.
2. Playing for money is sick. I play music too, to share the joy of it with people. If there is music for business then that's not a honest thing.

Sorry Anonymous, but even people who love making music need to eat too. Your electrician needs paying for his work, the author needs paying for producing the book. Why shouldn't the musician who takes the time and trouble to learn, practise, create, record and produce a CD not be rewarded with something so that he can continue to do so, and eat and feed his family?

Granted this blog deals with Christan music, so there's a desire to share God's message through the music too, but even then: the worker is worth his wages (paraphrase).

But I have to agree, that I don't buy music I haven't heard, unless I trust the artist.

And it's excellent that artists are pleased to dsicover that through blogs like this people can discover or rediscover their music. Plus which it's a great way to find old out of print Cassettes and Vinyls!
