Hang in there everybody!!!!!!!
I'll be back soon and when I do we'll have a blast.
Would like to know if you guys would like it. If I do some contest stuff were you can win stuff?
let know what you think?
Once again thanks for hanging in there for me, God Bless, johnny
definitely amigo, that would be a great idea and also if you have any more albums with the styl of 80's CCM AOR like David Martin 1985 album or like Allies (keyboard driven with nice guitars),One question for you i have, do you know any blogs or forums with 80's CCM AOR and HARD ROCK? God Bless You brother for the great blog and great music you have posted here
ReplyDeleteHey there anonymous, I've got another one that's (almost) as great as Johnny's fantastic blog here. Lots of great christian aor, metal, hard rock etc. Drop me a line at mst3kdudeley@yahoo.com and I'll share it with ya.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a lot of fun! There are a lot of different ways you could do that...maybe like a trivia thing? For instance, the question is posted at XX:XXam/pm on a given day (announced beforehand) and the first correct answer wins it. Or (this might be a bit harder to do) you could post a clip of an unnamed song and everyone has to 'name that song' or name the artist or something. That could be really cool. Maybe to make it more challenging, you could do it with multiple songs to win the prize. Whatever you come up with man will be great I'm sure. Hope to see some new posts soon!!! Take care!
ReplyDeleteJohnny - ever thought of putting a request comment section somewhere centralized? That way i can keep asking for the first Daniel band and the Servant stuff all in one location :)
ReplyDeleteAnonymous - why not ask Johnny if you can just post the link here? If he is not ok with it, you probably shouldn't offer to email to anyone. If he is ok with it, I'm sure we would all like to have the link.
ReplyDeleteA contest or CCM trivia contest would be great!
ReplyDelete(like....which petra song and which randy stonehill song had a back-masking message?)
It'll be good to have you back soon.

"Judas Kiss" and "Rainbow"...
ReplyDeleteI couldn't help myself.
I'd love to see Robert Vaughan and The Shadows' "Love And War" posted sometime... And The 7(and)7(i)S "More Miserable Than You'll Ever Be"...
Anonymous - he has already posted it: http://flipsidemn.blogspot.com/search?q=robert+vaughn
ReplyDeleteI have been looking for mylon lefevre "brand new Start" and "More"
ReplyDeleteA contest would be a fun idea. I think there would be many of us that would be interested in chiming in. Do you have a "want list" of music that you are looking for? I have a lot of stuff that I converted to mp3 from lp that I could share with you.
ReplyDeleteI too could also make this site enormous if you wanted. I've got well over a 1000 Cristian albums mostly Metal and it's various forms. Just let me know what you are looking for and I'll get it to you.
ReplyDeleteThere is a mistake here. Sheila Walsh's "Don't Hide Your Heart" is actually "WAR OF LOVE." So all I ask is that you fix it, my friend!!

Hey Guys,
ReplyDeleteSome people are requesting Servant's discs. Just to let you know, the first four were re-released in 2006 and are still available from www.radrockers.com and cdbaby.com. They sound great and come with full original art. Not cd-r's!
Also, several Servant tracks can be downloaded track-by-track at either www.amazon.com, or http://payplay.fm/servantband4.
ReplyDeleteWould be very appreciative if you could have more:
ReplyDelete1. Debby Boone
2. Sheila Walsh
3. Chris Eaton
4. Scott Wesley Brown
5. Paul Overstreet "Time" & "Love is Strong"
6. Leslie Phillips
7. Michael Omartin
Thanks,
Wondering if you might have a rare ep from a band called Ipso-Facto. If so, can you post it? I have it on vinyl with no means to record it. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see some Mylon Lefevre and Broken Heart, and Russ Taff (Medals)
ReplyDeleteI cannot tell you what a difference this has made in my life, I grew up on this music, and I love it, the music today, just isn't music to me....THANK YOU!! Oh Yeah, how bout some Randy Stonehill......that would be great.

ReplyDeleteRandy Stonehill posted: http://flipsidemn.blogspot.com/search?q=randy+stonehill
ReplyDeleteRuss Taff's self-titled LP is also posted, just do a search in the top right hand corner. Unfortunately Medals has not been posted.
Sorry, the top, left-hand corner is where you search, not the top, right-hand corner.
ReplyDeleteI cannot find Farrell & Farrell's Manifesto anywhere! I have it on vinyl... would love to find it digitally. Ditto for Bash N the Code's More Than Enough and the original Recess album. And Sheila Walsh Say So and Simple Truth... and on and on and on...
ReplyDeleteYou can get the Bash disc used, in "very good condition" for $1.89 + $2.98 shipping at www.amazon.com.
ReplyDeleteSheila Walsh - Simple Truth: http://c3po.barnesos.net:8888/gwen/Sheila%20Walsh/Simple%20Truth/
Could not find the others but am sure they are out there.
You can find Russ Taff's "Medals" by searching google. I don't have the link handy, but I was able to find it within 2-3 minutes.
ReplyDeleteAFTER READING ALL THESE AND EVEN POSTING ONE EARLIER, WE REALLY NEED TO CONVINCE JOHNNY TO HAVE A CENTRAL SPOT TO POST REQUESTS AN OTHER SUCH THINGS!!!
ReplyDeleteGOOD COMMUNITY HERE.
